Carburetor

The 2.3HSC engine uses the Holley 6149(US)/1949(Canada) carburetor. A carburetor mixes the air and fuel to create a combustible mixture suitable for burning in the engine. The ratio of air to fuel must be carefully controlled to ensure the most complete burning of the fuel. Impress your friends with the technical term "Stoichiometry". This is the term used to describe this perfect mix of air and fuel. Just say something like, "I think OBD II has finally given cars a chance at achieving Stoichiometric Combustion."
