Kellogg's Pop-Tarts

Crazy Good?! Have a look...

How can we not feel sorry for these poor helpless Pop-Tarts? The danger of anthropomorphization is why most people don't want to know the name of the cow they are eating for dinner.

Sometime in 2005, these macabre "crazy good" cartoons began appearing on the mylar inner wrappers for Kellogg's Pop-Tarts. I think they are absolutely hilarious. I'm just wondering how long it will take before parents find out and blame Kellogg's for promoting a form of cannibalism. The anthropomorphization of the victimized Pop-Tart is likely to seem very disturbing to more impressionable parents and (maybe) kids.

Flavors

My favorite Pop-Tart flavor is definitely Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon. However, there are many other flavors that I like. Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, S'mores, Cherry, and Frosted Chocolate Fudge are just a few.

There are also a number of flavors that I miss from the past. Dutch Apple was pretty good, as was Concord Grape (now there's a Frosted Grape, but I've not seen this in any stores). Peanut Butter and Jelly only lasted a brief time. The two fillings were injected in stripes into the tart, much like the current Smores flavor which is quite good.

My least favorite flavor is Strawberry. This is apparently Kellogg's most popular flavor as it figures prominently in their warehouse packs. The various Wild Berry variations (usually with movie tie-ins) are also pretty bad.
