Press Release

New - From the Ted Chain

1/17/85 Ted Team Studios, Gaithersburg, MD. Ted and J.J. Jammer, Buttocks Masterminds, today announced the latest addition to the phenomenal Ted Chain. J.J. Jammer, lead guitarist of the buttocks has formed a new supergroup "Sudden Urgence" with former rhythm specialist of the Buttocks XIX, Jack Anus. Anus, who was earlier thought to have died at a fart party, explains his long disappearance:

"I just felt like getting away from it all for a while. The only way I knew of was to fake my death. Since I've been gone, I have had time to sharpen my rhythm skills. I have been looking forward to recording again with J.J., whom I played in "Vomit" with. Our new album, "Press Conference" is phenomenal. We even got two members of Sudden Absence, our brother group, to join us for a few songs."

These two, vocalist David "Laryngitis" Gurn, formerly of Hacksaw Incision, and Orson "I'm No Geek" Snod, formerly of the San Diego Sandwich Factory Boys, have joined J.J. and Jack on what is rumored to be the guitar album that will be remembered for a long time.

First Spins show this record to be particularily strong on songs with J.J. on lead and Jack on rhythm. These include Washing Machine, Sudden Urgence Medley, Tributes to the Dick Beaters, Ted Chain and Indian. Vocalist David "Laryngitis" Gurn reads his two newest poems, "Mr. Edwards the Spider", and "A Bird Came Down the Walk." Drummer Orson "I'm No Geek" Snod plays some random drumming on "I'm No Geek", a tune he accompanies Jack Anus on. Jack himself spins off some good solos in "Indian", "Ted Chain", "Dick Beaters", and "Sudden Absence". Jack produced this album for Ted Team Productions, which was recorded in Vomit Studios.
